JOIN young people of all ages around the world in April 2008 in a musical celebration inspired by the life and ideals of renowned physician, musician, theologian, and Nobel Peace laureate Dr. Albert Schweitzer.

These events celebrate what Dr. Schweitzer considered the basis of all true ethics: our human capacity to experience and act on a sense of Reverence for all Life

This initiative was launched in April 2007 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first use of modern global telecommunications for environmental and peace advocacy – Dr. Schweitzer’s April 23, 1957 Declaration of Conscience, written at his Hospital in Africa and broadcast worldwide over Radio Oslo, which sparked people throughout the world to mobilize successfully to demand an end to the atmospheric nuclear test explosions that were then poisoning the planet.

JOIN US as we launch similar outpourings of public support for change through MUSIC, uniting people worldwide to:

Avert Climate Change, safeguarding the thousands of species whose existence is jeopardized by global warming

Abolish Nuclear Weapons, forever ending the threats of nuclear terrorism and nuclear war

Achieve the U.N. Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s), eradicating severe poverty and related disease
